Fire Restoration

After fire or smoke damage occurs, a number of conditions need to be addressed immediately. The procedures generally involved following a fire loss are:

Debris Removal:

Depending on the severity of the fire damage, debris removal is the first step in remediating a fire loss. Our expert technicians will conduct debris removal and some initial deodorization in order to prepare for the rest of the remediation.

Drying Out Water Damage:

Our skilled technicians are prepared to handle the water and moisture that lingers after a fire is put out. Depending on the condition of the building after a fire, when it is safe to do so, a thorough dry down of the area will be initiated to prevent mold and mildew growth.

Deodorization & Cleaning:

Fire damage restoration requires the utmost care and special handling. A range of materials and substances can fuel a fire, potentially causing heavy soot fallout and smoke damage. The large amount of water used to extinguish a blaze introduces concerns of corrosion, mold, and mildew growth. Extensive cleaning of the facility’s HVAC system, furniture contents, walls, and fixtures is necessary to avoid exposure to lingering particulate and smoke that can irritate the eyes and throat. To properly remediate these conditions, we deodorize the area and clean remaining contents, as well as the main air heating and exhaust systems (HVAC).

Contents & Pack Out/In:

Proper handling of electronics is critical to preventing corrosion and particulate interference. Our trained electronics restoration personnel will carefully inspect each piece to replace parts and perform maintenance and calibration as necessary. We also provide full pack-out and pack-in services to help protect your contents from further damage and theft.

Structural Reconstruction:

We are equipped to handle full reconstruction of a burned-out building. As a key part of almost every recovery process, reconstruction is included under our umbrella of services. Our regional in-house cabinet shop handles all cabinetry and mill-work jobs with skill and craftsmanship, and or team of in-house carpenters assist with installation and on-site finish work.
